Midlife is full of change—your body, your mood, your energy, and your sleep.

It can feel overwhelming, isolating, and honestly... a bit unfair.

But you’re not broken. And you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Calm Power is an 8-week yoga series for women in the magical mess of perimenopause, menopause, and everything in between.

During menopause, building strength isn’t just helpful—it’s essential!
As estrogen drops, we naturally lose bone density and muscle mass. Strength-based yoga helps counteract this, supporting your bones, boosting metabolism, and keeping you feeling strong and steady through the changes. 


And let’s not forget rest (actual, deep, guilt-free rest).
Because when sleep’s gone weird, anxiety’ shows up out of nowhere, and your nervous system feels fried. Restorative yoga helps calm the mind, and balances the body. It’s not a luxury—it’s medicine, and you deserve it.


Expect movement that helps you feel stronger, deep rest that actually recharges you, and simple tools to help with stress, sleep, and those 3am worry spirals.

Oh—and lots of laughs. Because midlife doesn’t have to be all serious. It might just be where you find your real power.

A weekly rhythm to support your midlife body, mind, and spirit—with just the right mix of calm and strength.

Each week, you’ll be guided through two beautifully balanced classes:

🖤 Wednesdays 7–8pm (Online only)
Calm & Cosy — think bolsters, blankets, long exhales, and the kind of rest that leaves you floating. Fluffy dressing gowns encouraged.

🖤 Saturdays 9–10am (Online + In Person at Verrans School Hall)
Powerful & Strong — strength-based yoga to support your bones, balance, and confidence. No gym mirrors, no pressure—just the empowering truth: “My strength is powerful.”

Can’t make it live? No worries—every class is recorded, and you’ll also get access to my full yoga video library during the series, so you can practise anytime, anywhere.

New to yoga? You’re in exactly the right place.
There are no levels here—just bodies, breath, and showing up. Some of my most advanced students live with disability or chronic illness. Yoga isn’t about touching your toes—it’s about learning to listen to your body with kindness. You’re welcome here, just as you are.

You’ll be part of a warm, welcoming community of women showing up just as they are—midlife magic and all.

Important Information – One Class Per Week
This is a trust-based option — you're welcome to attend either the Wednesday or Saturday class each week, or mix and match to suit your schedule. Just aim to attend 8 classes total across the term. No roll calls or tracking — I trust your honesty.

As a larger lady with bung knees I thought that yoga was not possible for me and your classes have changed that. I love that I never feel inadequate or embarrassed about things I can’t do or need to do differently. On top of that I love what a calm and positive experience Monday nights are - it puts me in a good mood!

If we haven’t met yet, hi, I’m Jen

I’m a qualified yoga teacher and retreat facilitator, and I’m passionate about helping people come home to themselves—through breath, movement, rest, and connection. My classes range from deeply restorative to strong and sweaty, but always with options, encouragement, and a “go at your own pace” vibe.

I live in a curvy body and wear an ExoSym device to support an ankle disability I was born with—so I really understand the need to adapt yoga for all kinds of bodies. Whether you’re brand new or have been practicing for years, there’s space for you here.

I specialise in accessible and inclusive yoga, and I advocate fiercely for body diversity—regardless of your size, age, ability, or energy level on any given day. You're welcome exactly as you are.

When I’m not guiding breath or movement, you’ll find me chasing sunrises, walking in nature, sharing laughs with friends, or savouring strong coffee and caramel slice.

And when a group of women gather for a sacred retreat? Magic happens. Connection. Peace. Power. That’s why I do this work.

It’s friggin’ scary putting myself out there (I’m an introvert at heart), but I believe in this practice so deeply that I feel the fear… and do it anyway.
