Bookings are term based - you can join casual and pro-rata, get in touch to join

 
 

ALL weekly classes are:

  • Beginner & wheelchair friendly

  • Holistic Hatha Yoga - mantra, poses, breathing, meditating & relaxing

  • Welcoming for everyBODY - variations are always offered so ALL can take part

  • Inclusive, body-affirming for ALL body types, shapes, sizes, injuries, disabilities, ages & stages catered for!

  • Women-only (or those identifying as women and/or non-binary)

  • a space to learn how to practice yoga with kindness and compassion for yourself

  • a time to learn how to appreciate the body you were born in

  • infused with body peace guidance

Monday Adaptive - Seated & Supported

MONDAY’s 11 am - 12 pm NZST

In-person at AUT Akoranga, AK, NZ. (We can join you on Zoom as well)

  • THIS is a VERY special & unique class!!

  • Supported by 4th year physio students on placement at AUT University

  • Suited for those who:

    • have reduced mobility, ill health, injury, Arthritis, Parkinson's, TBI, Stroke and aging bodies.

    • living with a disability - Spinal cord injury, MS, Cerebral Palsy

    • experience any other barrier that prevents you from attending a regular yoga class

  • Adapted ACCESSIBLE holistic Hatha Yoga from a chair

  • We move, breathe, meditate & relax, cultivating mind/body connection

  • Develop meaningful changes in your posture, strength, breath awareness, balance, & resilience

  • You’ll get to practice YOUR version of Yoga at your own pace - no competing or judgment!

  • Fabulous supportive community environment, esp coffee after class :)

Wednesday - Rest & Reflect

WEDNESDAY’s 7 pm - 8 pm NZST

Online via Zoom only

Unwind midweek with Rest & Reflect — a calming, cosy all-levels yoga class that nurtures your body and mind. This 60-minute session brings super gentle movements, reflection, divine restorative poses and guided relaxation to help you release stress and restore balance.

Ideal for those who want:

  • A gentle, midweek yoga session to reset and recharge

  • A space to explore yoga in a non-judgmental, supportive setting

  • A practice that encourages self-care and mindfulness

That class was delicious! Jen caters for every body, offering alternatives for all her movements. There is no pressure, no judgement - acceptance and love are what this gorgeous woman brings to her practice, encouraging her students to make it their own. I love this yogi - she’s my yogi! ❤️

Friday Adaptive - Seated & Standing

FRIDAY’s 10 am - 11.30 am NZST

In-person only at Glenfield Senior Citizens Hall, 7 Mayfield Road, Glenfield, Auckland, NZ

  • Chair - Wisdom Years Yoga!

  • An accessible dynamic class where we do a bit of everything!

  • Fantastic class for seniors or those wanting a bit more support & pose adaptions

  • Yoga poses, breathing, meditation & divine relaxation

  • We have chairs for use and come in and out of them - your choice how much you use your chair, I will guide you

  • Inclusive body-affirming class for ALL body types, shapes, sizes AND ages!

  • Infused with body peace and gratitude guidance

  • Accessible - beginner & wheelchair friendly

I have been doing Jen’s classes for about 2 years now and they have been life-changing!. For someone with physical challenges, I feel too intimidated to go to any Yoga class. Jen always options I can do and it genuinely feels ok to take a different option - she makes you feel empowered and at ease doing so. On top of that my strength, flexibility & balance is up which makes life easier! Plus I love the community of ladies after gathering for a coffee and most special is Jen herself who is so positive, calm and welcoming - I wouldn’t miss my Friday Yoga for anything!
