Start Your Year Feeling Clear, Connected, and Supported

January can feel messy — full of pressure, expectations, and “new year, new you” nonsense.

This retreat is the opposite of all that.

SHINE BRIGHT is a gentle day retreat designed to help you reconnect with yourself, set a clear guiding intention for 2026, and step into the new year feeling grounded, hopeful, and ready.

You’ll be guided through a nourishing blend of movement, breath, meditation, reflection, and rest — all delivered in a way that honours real bodies, real lives, and real energy levels.

What you’ll gain:

✔ A clear intention for 2026: A guiding word or intention statement that feels deeply aligned — your personal “guiding Star” for the year ahead.

✔ Clarity + Self-Connection: Gentle guided reflection to help you reconnect to what truly matters.

✔ A sense of support and spaciousness: A calm place to reset after a busy season, held in a nurturing group environment.

✔ A renewed inner spark: Soft practices that help you remember your strength, hope, and possibility.

Jen’s signature blend of kindness, humour, and body-peace practices will help you reconnect to yourself and claim what you truly want for 2026.

P.S. This isn’t a “new year, new you” fix-it workshop. It’s a gentle, powerful reset — the feminine warrior way.

Kick-start your year with energy, joy, and intention!

As a larger lady with bung knees I thought that yoga was not possible for me and your classes have changed that. I love that I never feel inadequate or embarrassed about things I can’t do or need to do differently. On top of that I love what a calm and positive experience Monday nights are - it puts me in a good mood!

If we haven’t met yet, hi, I’m Jen!

I’m a qualified yoga teacher and retreat facilitator, and I’m passionate about helping people come home to themselves—through breath, movement, rest, and connection. My classes range from deeply restorative to strong and sweaty, but always with options, encouragement, and a “go at your own pace” vibe.

I live in a curvy body and wear an ExoSym device to support an ankle disability I was born with—so I really understand the need to adapt yoga for all kinds of bodies. Whether you’re brand new or have been practicing for years, there’s space for you here.

I specialise in accessible and inclusive yoga, and I advocate fiercely for body diversity—regardless of your size, age, ability, or energy level on any given day. You're welcome exactly as you are.

When I’m not guiding breath or movement, you’ll find me chasing sunrises, walking in nature, sharing laughs with friends, or savouring strong coffee and caramel slice.

And when a group of women gather for a sacred retreat? Magic happens. Connection. Peace. Power. That’s why I do this work.

If you'd like to see more of what yoga means to me—and why I do things differently—here’s a short documentary from Attitude TV that shares my journey, body, and beliefs.

Yes, I’ve been on TV. No, I’m not giving up yoga to go full celeb (unless Netflix calls hehe). Come on retreat and you might even score an autograph. 🤣🤣🤣

I do these kinds of promos to spread the word that all bodies are able, valuable, and worthy—no matter what.

It’s friggin’ scary putting myself out there (I’m an introvert at heart), but I believe in this practice so deeply that I feel the fear… and do it anyway.

That class was delicious! Jen caters for every body, offering alternatives for all her movements. There is no pressure, no judgement - acceptance and love are what this gorgeous woman brings to her practice, encouraging her students to make it their own. I love this yogi - she’s my yogi! ❤️
