This accessible supported yoga is do-able & enjoyable!

These classes will help you to develop small and meaningful changes in your control, posture, breathing awareness, concentration and inner strength. Through practising the ancient and healing yoga techniques for mind-body integration.

We make an effort to create a supportive, non-competitive atmosphere to promote physical activity, inspire joyful movement and mind/body connection.

The session will be adaptive to YOUR unique body - ALL welcome no matter what is going on. This unique adapted Yoga class is for anyBODY with challenging physical limitations.

Held at AUT Integrated Health with 1:1 assistants on hand - Whaa? Luxury! AUT physio students & their supervisor are their to help facilitate your Adaptive Yoga at your pace Learn more about AUT here

The class is designed to allow for Yoga to be practiced in a seated position, it is adapted for those in a wheelchair, and also caters for people to practice in a mixture of seated and standing postures.

This is an inclusive and welcoming class for people with a long-term health condition, for those recovering from an illness/injury or with reduced mobility. It’s also a great class for those moving into their wisdom years or any other conditions that are a barrier to go to a regular class - YOU belong here!

You don't need any prior experience – yoga postures are adapted to your ability.

Here is a few pics of our class together - it’s a friendly workshop environment, where ALL are welcome and looked after. It’s a great uplifting community, we like to have a laugh as well as Yoga!

The class finishes with guided breathing and meditation practices that calm the nervous system and relax the mind.

Ever felt intimidated to go to a ‘regular’ studio/class? And that your body is not “right” for the Yoga space?

Let me show you that Yoga is for everyBODY and it is way more of an inner practise than you ever realise.

A unique, inclusive, body positive, judgement-free space where you are encouraged to practise Yoga YOUR way, be-friend your luscious curves and gain the many wonderful benefits of Yoga.

In this class, you will learn to embrace FEEL over LOOK and find joyful movement in your body, as it is, right now!

We explore accessible movement to gain trust, peace, strength and balance in your body and mind through do-able, accessible Yoga - fighting strong spirit within - Yeeaaahh!

As a larger lady with bung knees I thought that yoga was not possible for me and your classes have changed that. I love that I never feel inadequate or embarrassed about things I can’t do or need to do differently. On top of that I love what a calm and positive experience Monday nights are - it puts me in a good mood!

This is a signature accessible, adaptive Yoga for ALL class - welcoming, inclusive, non-judgmental and catering for your UNIQUE body.

Suitable for beginners and experienced - Jen caters to your level.

Great for those moving into their wisdom years! but any age welcome

“if you can breathe, you can do yoga” - True Story!

In this class Jen adjusts the poses to fit the body - not the body to fit the poses.

We start in a chair and then you choose how much you want to use it as we move through yoga with variations on offer.

With a focus on breath awareness, Jen guides you through gentle movement, balancing, stretching, opening & strengthening - all helping to improve co-ordination, circulation, joint health…..& much much more!

We always finish with a deeply rejuvenating guided relaxation for calm, peace & restoration - snoring allowed!

This class has been assessed and approved for ACC’s Strength and Balance - Live Longer for Stronger Govt Programme.

Thank you for the guidance through the mini meditation Jennie. I struggled today with breathing up until you described how to focus calmly on the diaphragm and it’s natural action After that I could breathe easy!
